If your insurance does not help cover the cost of your care, we offer different discounted options as well.

Most Auto Accident injuries are covered 100%.
Regular health insurance – We accept most insurances and will be happy to check your benefits for you.

Phases of Care

Phase One – Crisis Care

Think of this phase as the moment you are in pain. However, the moment that you are in pain typically isn’t the first sign that there is something wrong. For example, if your car breaks down did it do so suddenly or was it because you neglected to have it taken care of and it slowly began to break down over time until it finally gave in? Whether it is back pain, heart disease or even cancer, oftentimes pain is the last symptom to appear. When patients receive chiropractic care, pain is usually the first thing to disappear. This is great but Dr. Joe’s main concern is the root cause of the problem and getting that corrected, which leads us to corrective care.

Phase Two – Corrective Care

This is the most important phase during the healing process, and also Dr. Joe’s specialty. The reason why this phase is so important is because if you only focus on getting out of pain, the underlying cause of the pain does not get corrected and the condition is likely to return.

The goals here are typically to restore functional movements and correct structural changes. There is also a focus on remodeling and strengthening the body and spine. Depending on the severity and amount of time that someone has been dealing with a certain condition they might be in this phase anywhere from a couple of months to a couple of years. As your body is going through this phase of healing, there will be occasional mild flare-ups but it is important to understand that this is normal and don’t let it discourage you.

Phase Three – Wellness Care

This is Dr. Joe’s most exciting phase of care because this is where your body is functioning the way it was designed. Pain isn’t present in this phase but life happens and if you were to get hurt then your body would be able to adapt and heal much quicker since your nervous system is functioning at such a high level. Life is full of physical, emotional and chemical stresses that are put on the body every day. Making chiropractic a part of your lifestyle helps you to avoid those costly trips to the doctor. Just like it is important to have your teeth checked regularly by your dentist, it is important to have your nervous system checked regularly to make sure your body is functioning properly.
